Cotehardie II

Just finished, a new cotehardie. Sewn by hand in felted wool, with waxed linen thread. Lined with dark green linen.
As it is all handsewn it has taken me about two months time to make. Of this time, at least one month has been devoted to the art of buttons, and button-hole-making.
This is by far the piece of clothing i've been bleeding most for, literally, as i have managed to pierce myself with the needle about forty times.

I am so far very happy with the result, but it has yet to be tested. It's a bit tight around the shoulders, and in the right arm, but it will stretch with time.
