The larp costume used on this summer's main larp event, Krigshjärta 5.
The character is a landsknecht paratrooper medic, in this particular area working as a field surgeon. The crossbow is for self and patient defense, together with the single smoke grenade at the waist.
This image shows the costume heat adapted. The jacket has been strapped to the back of the jump harness, the hose legs has been folded up a bit and the shirt has had its sleeves tucked up. 24 degrees C in the shadow, and wearing dual layers of wool and are physically active? You would melt if you didn't adapt.
Everything made by me. Combination of handsewn details, and major sewing machine work.

Nice, I have heard a couple of stories from the larp already, so I hope that you had an awesome time. The costume looks well planned and the character wearing it looks suitably heroic. All that the image misses is a Cordovian salite beneath your feet, right?
