Larp Howitzerby ~Noctiped

Artisan Crafts / Other

A project made by me and three friends for the larp Krigshjärta 5 summer 2011. I helped build it, but didn't actually use it ingame.
Everything except the wheels are built from scratch.

Made for blank firing only, but creates a very powerful sound bang. Loaded with gunpowder, and a modern powder fuse.

Turned out to be heavy, but not impossible to move around.

Well, it is pretty close visually, but the guild, as it is called, is a organization that fights for free trading, and their culture of agreements, contracts and money. Visually inspired by 16th century german soldiers(landsknechts), but with a lot of steampunk influences, as airships, toic smoke grenades, long-range rifles and so on.

Going through favs I come across this again, and have a few questions, if you don't mind:

1. Do you have a smoke effect for any of the guns and such, to show firing?

2. Where all do you hold this, I see you're from Sweden, but is there anything going on in the U.S. ?

Well, black powder comes with its own smoke effect.

Every shot uses about 5-10 grams of powder. We use no projectile though, people have to
take the hit themselves.

I have absolutely no idea. There may be some reenactment associations that uses cannons, but I am
fairly sure that there is no larp that allows it in the U.S.
You could come here and play with us though. There is space in the fiction for english-speaking people.
