Steampunk healing gauntlet

Healing gauntlet made for larp use. Mostly leather, and a bit of brass and plastic tubes. And some radioactive hydrogen isotope. About 20-30 hours work.

Design notes:
I wanted something that gave the right feeling, and not just look good. I therefore built it to add some annoying weight, and to render your left hand grip pretty useless. You are not going to be a very useful soldier with this, and it has noteable cons.
It is made to look as it has been originally made for larger creatures, but adapted for human size use. It could also be extended further upwards, using the covered plugs.
The power of healing is taken from your own body, and transfered to the patient. It is somewhat powered up by the green crystal rods beneath the brass blades in the body plug, and all the load is then spread through your arm by the secondary plugs on your hand and lower arm, and transfered to the patient through the large coils in your hand. The brass blades are filed to look sharp, but are not sharp at all, for personal safety. 
The green light is created by two slightly radioactive tritium rods, wich have a halflife of about ten years. (No, they are not dangerous, unless you swallow them.) Thus, no battery is required, and it is perfectly fine with rain and general outdoor activity.
